About Merrill Gardens
Merrill Gardens is a centralized set of facilities, offering a large number of residences in a given facility as opposed to some of the more far flung properties managed by other companies. It also is the first of the “little giants,” because while it comes in at number eight on the list of the largest assisted living providers, it does so with only 54 facilities and room for 7,000 elderly Americans.
The company takes pride in its offerings. Assisted living residents have a sixty-day guarantee on the quality of care provided. While actual assistance can’t be refunded, Merill Gardens will remit payment of the first two months of rent.
Transportation is provided to off-site amenities as needed for residents, and all facilities offer restaurant-style dining rooms for those who do not cook their own meals, reports the company.
Other services generally include: housekeeping, general medical services, fitness programs and assistance with daily activities. Emergency notification systems and 24-hour staffing are the norm, as are laundry services and round-the-clock security coverage. Merrill Garden’s website is http://www.merrillgardens.com/
