Hi Jackie,
I am not sure what state you are in. But your best bet would be to either browse our directory of assisted living facilities or look for your state licensing organization and contact them to get a list of licensed facilities that cater to young adults.
Not all assisted living facilities provide services to young adults, but many do. So, identifying all licensed communities in your area and then contacting them directly is your best bet.

I too have a young adult female, age 22, who needs residential placement due to her mental illness, I have not been able to find any safety ratings on the facilities in Missouri. Also, many of the places I have visited are far below standards in regard to fire safety, cleanliness, and food preparation. One facility is so dirty, there is filth on the beds. - Pat MC
We have a 20 year old living with us. He has a serious mental illness he cant take care of himself. is there anywhere in Az we can let him live... - Tanya
The villa of Tyler welcomes all age groups with these such diagnose. The level of care helps yet keeps them.independent enough to take care of themselves. For some it is only a temporary stay but for others it will be their home for the remainder of their life. I encourage anyone in the Tyler area to stop by and take a tour for them selves. We are located on garden valley road in Tyler TX. - daynaedwards
