My Mom lives in an ALF, with a dementia unit. What are the staffing regulations in the dementia unit? Some days there are 5 CNA's and Med Tech's other days there are only 3 on the floor.There are at least 5 residents that need to be fed daily not including the one's that are in their rooms for one reason or another, how are 3 people supposed to do this job with the care that is needed.Not only is it unfair to the workers it is unfair to the residents. The residents also pay more for this care that is sometimes not given to them. I questioned the faculity but they refuse to answer me. A dementia unit requires more care than a normal ALF.Thank You kim
