I'm a former caregiver employee from this facility I was assaulted by a resident here and the ED brushed it off as a small incident like nothing serious happened no incident report writing down my statement nothing then and of course the resident was not sent out to a behavioral health facility to be evaluated because they don't want to loose the income this resident brings in. Now to all the problems I observed from this facility 1.we never had enough supplies such as gloves, wipes, briefs, trash bags because of the "budget". 2. Constantly understaffed to the point of 3 caregivers on the floor with over 50+ residents almost all total care I myself have had to care for 18 residents at some point and God forbid I go over my 8 hours and be late accuiring overtime providing care to that many people and the correct way is difficult and the medtechs assume that because they pass medicine they don't have to provide care they've been told meaning they "management" by me to hire more caregivers but refuse to do so again because of the budget; again they have income from over 50+ residents so they have the money they're just stingy and want to keepk it to themselves and don't want to pay for more staff. 3. Unlicensed caregivers on the floor at the moment there's 5 supposedly under certified caregiver guidence not true they are assigned residents and left alone as if licensed unless they are doing transfers they are not under surpervision of anyone the schedule posted is a lie it says they are under a certified caregiver supervision but is a lie that's just there incase state walks in. 4.When there's call offs they don't call other staff to cover causing the caregivers already there to be overworked and overwhelmed with work because they don't want to pay overtime so basically screw the caregivers on shift. 5. Caregivers are injured because of attacks by a resident or because of the heavy lifting involved they currently have 3 residents that need hoyer lifts we got them then they took them away from the caregivers because we were "not trained" and state was coming then we got them back by this time there's been more injuried. Then they are refusing to pay for the medical treatment they need or making it difficult for the caregivers from getting the medical treatment they shouldn't of needed in the first place. 6. Kitchen complaints by residents that the food is awful also trying to budget the residents food if resident doesn't want what's on the menu or what's on the always available menu they say they run out of that item so there is a strict budget even in this the most important need that these residents require to stay strong and healthy. So please don't take your family here your better off hiring a private caregiver this is not a good place to have them at as they won't get the proper care because of severe understaffed issue and all the reasons I listed above.as consequence to me being assaulted and the matter not being solved correctly I've called corporate and labor commission as well and filed a claim with them.

I agree with Colleen -- do not put your family here ! My mother was left soaked on multiple occasions with promises that it would not happen again. Evaluations do nothing to change the care needed or given. More often than not, her dentures were not in for meals and she was improperly dressed. Supplies missing or in locked rooms when no one had a key over the weekend. Huge constant turnover of staff. Or constantly understaffed would be more appropriate. Complaints fall on deaf ears with the ED. She makes promises but never delivers or follows through, or responds to all of her emails.

As a former employee this place is a joke it's all about who you know higher up.....that being said it also makes your pay higher if you have family working there... I came in many times at 2pm to find my residents soaked or sitting in fecal matter, found patients in the floors bloody and when asking around no one from day shift knew a thing, are you serious how do you not know when or how this resident fell. If that's not enough to keep you away maybe the fact that there is a huge black mold problem will....they shut the entire kitchen down for weeks and fed nasty cold food to the residents and they were still eating in the facility and no one was moved either so everyone at this location has been exposed to heavy amounts of mold. I was working 12-16 hour shifts at this place and the ED is a child and does not know how to run a business.... I have also decided to seek legal representation over the way this facility treated me and the way noting is done to state regulations, not to mention all the wrongful terminations they did cause Julie and Z didn't like the employee. The week we had state it was a mad house cause nothing was done correctly...they had other ED's come in to help just so state exam could be passed and all your family's information is laying around on the daily for anyone to see I've made complaints about that with hippa as well....please be careful putting loved ones here it's no place for anyone that's loved these people are ignored, taunted, and at times ridiculed for their needs. Do not let this be your family.

Do not put your loved ones here. My mother has been left wet and cold more than once. We have had to hire a caregiver to take care of her because she is not being cared for. Her property is being stolen by staff. Laundry and house keeping is completely ignored. I rarely see the promised activities. This is just her first month there. No cable for 30 days as promised. Moving mom again will absolutely be a bad situation, but that's where we are with this situation.
