After seeing how Im treated in the new company I work now, I never hesitated to withdraw my employment at this place of six years when I was deceived and disregarded of my benefits that I was entittled to and was given no explanations and showed no compassion towards the matter and was just dismissed when wanting to discuss the problem. I love what I do and I do my best, but this company doesn't deserve my hardwork and dedication anymore, so I moved on to a great company who sees me one of their great employees! As an employee you are charged to use their covered parking lot! Pay your own meals while most companies let you have one free meal. They are always short staffed and just make us do duties outside our job description to make up for it! The supervisor, who's a non degree, manipulates the schedule just to save company money! Favoritism exist bluntly, no direct HR person or an office to bring up grievances. Limitted and inaccessible supplies, like gloves, trash bags, etc. EMPLOYEES are encourage by the nurse to bring in grocery bags for STAT use!? You'll see the LPN on her phone instead of manning the staff and interacting with Residents. Staffs are always overwork and underpaid, residents are not getting most the services they're paying for! Employees and residents are just another number here. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR EMPLOYMENT OR FOR LOVE ONES!

Legacy has been great for my family. It is a very clean, caring atmosphere. The caregivers, nurses and staff really care about all of us and go out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home here.

My mom was there for 5.5 years. It started out good but a change in management decreased the level of care. My mom was struggling and was asked to leave the facility after 5.5 years. We moved her and got a medical assessment and found she had a severe UTI and was being over medicated with the wrong medicine. My mom used the recommmended doctor for her services. The health care leader at Legacy was not on top of the situation to properly address it. My mom is now at a great facility and is doing great. She is cared for and loved by the workers. She is now at Marrioposa Point Mesa. I would suggest not considering Legacy and if you have a loved one there go check out other options so their quality of life is the best possible.

Very nice facility but with a lot of turnover in care-givers. Be forewarned: If you have a loved one there don't leave anything valuable in the room as it may disappear over time...especially if they sleep a lot. All the workers have keys to the rooms. Valuable jewelry is a favorite...easy to slip into a pocket. This may be a problem at other assisted living quarters and not necessarily unique here but it is our experience at Legacy.
