As a visiting home health therapist, I can't say how thorough this community is with the patient care. The leadership team does a fine job of maintaining a high quality of care and standards for their residents. The employees are never hesitant to assist outside agencies from providing supplemental care for their residents.

As a previous employee, I can't say enough about this work family. Avista Senior Living North Mountain and the Corporate Support team truly changed my life through the service I provided for the residents. I made life-long friends with the other employees and still am in touch with some of the residents. I recommend this place as one to work or live and appreciate all Avista has done for me and my family.

My girlfriend works here and is always happy to go to work. It is hard to find places where the person genuinely enjoys working for their employer. The residents are happy to see her and she is happy to see them. I would recommend working for or living at Avista Senior Living any day.

This place is HORRIBLE! Do Not let your parents or grandparents move here. I worked for this company and they had roaches in the kitchen! Cooks that cook with no gloves and suck on they're fingers! Some one working in the kitchen was also doing caregivers job for 2 months unlicensed. When I was working in kitchen I asked where a residents food was after she was waiting an hour plus for her food they told me to lie and tell her her food was next and they continued to say that's just what we're supposed to say. ALOT of people working there are not properly certified and licensed. They treat employees and the people living there unfairly. One time I asked medtech to help with someone and she chuckled and kept walking. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone who cares about they're love one.
