From Jane, Molly and Emily.... We found the staff at the care home to be caring and respectful to residents and family members. If any concerns were brought up by family members, these were addressed in a timely manner by the home manager and taken care of. Our mom/grandma was probably the most difficult resident to take care of and she was always treated with the utmost respect. Appropriate referrals to medical professionals were initiated by the home manager for mom/grandmas care, including a hospice referral. This referral, Hospice of the West, was an awesome referral. This agency followed mom/grandma to a family members home, where she died with dignity and caring.

I have been a resident for 1 1/2 years prior to this I was at 6 other assisted living facilities. This is one of the best places I know of. The facility, the food, the owner and the qualified staff and the medical attention when needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I thought that this would be the place for my Mom to become stronger because of the promises from the Manager of exercise each day, Socialization, Good Food, etc....not the case...The cook & food are better than most, however, it was a gamble on her care. I was told that she would be given drugs PRN...not the case...Her drug regimen near the end of her life, in my opinion was the cause of her life ending...Initially my Mother was doted on for 3 months by 2 caregivers that were fantastic during this time...thye mad certain that she ate and sat with her at night when she was upset...she was fine until their Visas were up and they had to go back home...THEN...New caregivers arrived and caregiving that was less competent...(The Manager employs Jamaican or Romanian women to care for the residents...the initial team was very competent...the next team was pitifully inexperienced (in my opinion) and their demeanor was COLD) Mom lost 10lbs. in a month, and she only weighed 86 lbs. to begin with...I took her home and she died shortly after...I should have taken her home much sooner...I feel that she would still be alive, had I changed her drug regimen and stabilized her with her eating habits. The Manager should have emphasized how my Mother had declined with her eating habits; she failed to do so.
