My Dad and I loved Belmont. From the moment we visited Belmont everyone was so wonderful. The Pals (caregivers), kitchen staff, nurses, concierges, maintenance to all the administrators, all showed how much they really care. For over 4 years my dad was taken care of with love. Belmont is small enough that you get to know everyone, yet they have all the benefits and amenities to keep you busy. I knew when I wasn't there he was in the best hands. I can't thank them enough for all that they have done for my dad and me. I have and will recommend Belmont to everyone.

I am so impressed with the staff at Belmont Village. I become more familiar with Belmont when a close family friend passed away. Her mother is a resident at Belmont Village. Belmont treated everyone involved with an unbelievable amount of care and respect. If I ever have to make the decision to place my own parents in an assisted living facility, Belmont would be my first choice.

When we lost my mom, my dad was lost. They lived in an independent senior complex, but it quickly became evident that he would need a good deal more help. When we found Belmont Village, he was instantly in favor of the move and we never regretted our decision. As a matter of fact, my out-of-state siblings used to text me BDE (best decision ever) after almost every phone call to him! The staff at Belmont is extremely caring in addition to being very proficient at what each one does. From the moment you enter, you are welcomed - by the concierge, the dining room staff, the PALS, the medical staff, maintenance workers, administrative staff, etc., etc. etc. Like the bar in Cheers, everyone knows your name and greets you warmly, stopping to chat even when you know they are busy. And that applied to me as well, not just my dad. No one was ever too busy to stop and answer my questions or ask how everything was. My dad made some great friends at Belmont Village. The residents are encouraged to get out of their rooms and socialize and most of them do it with joy. Meal times were very popular especially since the food is excellent. But what is truly exceptional is the way that the dining room staff learns the residents' preferences, anticipating requests even before they are made! Not at all institutional. When my dad got sick and I was bringing his meals up to his room, I simply asked "what does he usually like for breakfast?" and it was prepared as he liked it. Activities at Belmont are varied and offer a myriad of choices. Since I am local and was a frequent visitor, many times I would get a call from my dad telling me not to come at a certain time or call because he would be busy at one thing or another. The activities director does an excellent job of planning interesting activities that also have other benefits, like establishing a Belmont choir group with a choir director skilled in breathing exercises and therapeutic practices. When my dad was nearing the end of his life and needed more help, it was a great comfort to know that he was in great hands and being well taken care of when I could not be there. The staff worked hand in hand with hospice to improve his quality of life right up until the day he died. I credit the move to Belmont with giving me a great last year with my dad. I believe that the peace and happiness he found there along with the assistance he was getting allowed me to just visit and "be his daughter" instead of his housekeeper or caregiver. And that is priceless. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Belmont is exceeding our expectations with the care being given to our father. He had a bad fall and has needed a very high level of care over the last month as he rehabs his injuries. The Physical Therapists, nurses and other staff have really stepped up and helped him in so many ways. He's now on his way to recovery. I recommend Belmont for anyone desiring assisted living all the way to skilled nursing care. It doesn't get better than this. Bravo!

This place turned out to be the perfect place for my dad. Toured many facilities, since this one offered 24 hr nurse care where others did not, made it clear which one to select and a great choice it was. Plus the food is excellent. Highly recommend Belmont Village in Scottsdale.
