Hi front staff is very rude no matter who it is and they kept answering my sister questions extremely rude and sarcastic. RUN, RUN far away DO NOT take your loved one's here very bad place if I could give ZERO stars I would....also employees park for lunch where patients visitors should park leaving us NO room to park and lack of handicap parking and the place looks like a BIG Apartment complex with gates.I wouldn't call this a Asst living home at all and why do some patients get to eat in very nice dinning room while other patients eat in a small room with card tables????? what a Joke this place is more like prison and NO refrigerator in rooms so they sit there thirsty all day and no snacks. PLEASE DON'T BRING ANYONE YOU CARE ABOUT HERE ..???

Staff starting with Reception very rude n unprofessional yelling to get my attention. RN was very unprofessional in front of patient. Next would not let go of incident brings up of rudeness. Patient end up back at hospital. I told Dr any place better Scottsdale Square Village. I blame RN on duty for my client back at hospital. Please go to Advanced Healthcare. Not Scottsdale Square Village Center.. Unprofessional staff. Horrible!!

I moved to Scottsdale Village Square July 31, 2018 so I'm relatively new to this facility. Previously, I had spent 14.5 months in a high-rise facility. Coming here I was immediately struck by the openness and beauty of the grounds. The addition of the birdcage is a plus as I stroll to and from the dining room as new babies have arrived and add to the beauty of the already existing crew. The grounds are full of larger birds roaming freely with new babies coming along regularly. A heated swimming pool completes a very appealing picture. I moved into a very clean and newly painted apartment and was able to feel settled and at home within a short period of time. The activities provided here are many and varied so much of the time. I am busy and content; I partake of aquatic exercises, bingo, happy hour with different kinds of music brought in as well as holiday celebrations and provisions for visiting relatives to join us for meals and entertainment. I find myself wishing there were more hours in the day to enjoy the activities and get to know staff and other residents better. I know that will come with time. I am grateful to my family for finding such a nice place for my retirement days.

I have worked at Scottsdale Village Square for five years and you will not find a community with a more caring staff to care for your family members. Whether you are placing your loved one in the Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing environment, they will be treated with dignity and respect. The staff at SVS truly cares for the residents they serve.

Came to visit a friend on 6/7 at 11 and did not make it past the front door. The reception is terribly rude and short and sny. I hope the community takes note of her demeanor and makes serious changes. At the other community in PV the receptionist was warm and polite.
