I currently work at one of Chaparral Winds sister properties but today I was able to tour Caparral and what an amazing community. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the apartments were and how gracious the employees were as well, very tentative to the residents needs. The residents happily greeted you as you walked by, a very soothing and cheerful atmosphere. Their Executive Director is amazing and top notch marketing. They are also in the process of some remodeling projects, just a little enhancement to an already extraordinary community. So worth checking them out for yourself or a loved one.

They took great care of my Father. Grace, his primary care giver was so good with him. Thank you Chaparral Winds for being home to my Father.

If anybody is looking to be employed at this place don't! The managers offices have no experience and they write you up for smallest things ever. Theres to much favoritism in this place and soon it will make you feel like you are being harassed by the employer and managers. Take this comment in consideration coming from someone who worked there for 2 years and fired because manager wanted to favorite other employees and take other peoples job away. Your welcome !

Do your research before moving here. I have a few friends that live here and have been told it's not what it used to be. They are cutting back on many things. Food quality and portion sizes are one of them. Things are falling apart and not being repaired. The carpets need to be replaced. They are only interested in taking care of the items that will be seen my potential future residents going on tours. Promises to clean all the windows twice a year are not kept. Once a year cleaning of carpets in the apartments are no longer paid for. And I hear that if you complain to much or too loud that management will try to get you kicked out. They also even have told the residents not to complain to staff about any problems that they are having while they are showing potential residents around the grounds. They raise the rates but do not put that money back into the care of the premises.

Chaparral Winds has been nothing short of amazing. I have had 2 sets of grandparents in their facility. Including both memory care and assisted living. The care they received while there was excellent. The executive director was actually very attentive, caring and kind. Along with the rest of the staff. I know they truly care about their residents. Recently, my grandfather passed away. During the last few days of his life we held vigil by his bedside. We were also treated with respect and kindness. Every single staff member would offer us whatever we needed to ensure that we were all taken care of. I would recommend this care facility to anyone in need of loving care of a family member.
