Our mother recently moved to Brookdale East. We were very impressed with the hospitality, caring and professional treatment we received. Suzanne, the director, and Breanne in marketing and sales were informative, patient and very knowledgeable! Darlene, at the front desk, was friendly and very kind. Dale, the nurse at the facility, goes out of her way to meet individual needs. The staff was so welcoming and friendly and has continued to be so after our mother moved in. Given the stressful circumstances we were under, their helpfulness was exemplary! They worked very hard to accommodate our mother's needs. Anyone looking for a caring, friendly and wonderful staff should really consider Brookdale East Tucson.

Recently my 94 year old mother toured Brookdale East with my sister and I. We were impressed with the friendly and professional treatment we received. We were especially impressed with director, Suzanne, and Breanne, in marketing and sales. The facility is a small, comfortable environment with a boutique feel. We were impressed with the friendliness of ALL the staff and their caring spirit. Now that mom is settled in, she continues to benefit from the outstanding care and supportive environment we saw the first day of our tour. The entire staff gives 100% and tries to make every person feel valued and loved. It is amazing to see their level of professional care. Susan, the activities director is simply amazing, and engages all residents in her creative ideas and programs. I appreciate her high energy level. I highly recommend Brookdale East Tucson!

We want to thank you personally for everything you all do for all the residents there at Brookdale East Tucson. Your staff provides excellent services. I have had family at other communities, but Brookdale does a much superior job in all their services. Special thanks to Suzanne with her leadership and Mark who is very kind and dedicated to help us out. Please express our thanks to ALL your fine caregiving staff. We appreciate it very much. God bless, The Lackeys

This assisted living is nice because there are no elevators, it's a small community all on one floor. The caregivers are so nice. A lot of the staff have been there for something like 10 years. They have activities and exercise classes daily. Susan takes them for scenic drives on Saturdays and they have a nice set up for dining. The people all seem happy.

The base rate for the room and meals is $4900 per month (increasing soon to $5200) plus extra fees for medication management. There is little, if any management physically on duty after five PM. The facility's public area is clean, but the private rooms aren't cleaned that often and no furniture is moved for cleaning underneath. The food is hit or miss and has noticably declined recently, especially the evening meal. Care given to the residents is rushed with caregivers lacking training and they seem short-staffed. We are looking for a new facility.
