If you're looking for a place that will encourage healing and will be supportive of both patient and family, I'd look elsewhere. My great grandmother was here for rehab after surgery to repair a broken hip after she suffered a fall. Her room had mold growing on the ceiling, nurses straight up don't respond to her calls, and I was even told that a nurse handled her in a rough way, and slammed her room door on her way out. My grandma is making big progress, so I'm giving it two stars instead of one, but honestly we aren't big fans of this facility.

Always clean, great staff, and the best care you can ask for in Tucson! If I could I would give it 10 stars! Ive never felt more comfortable leaving my mom with such great caregivers and staff!

Honestly, if I could give this zero stars, I would. This place is a waiting room to die. My grandmother is currently in the facility and suffers from reoccurring UTI's. We can always tell when she has one because she starts hallucinating and just generally makes no sense when you talk to her. When we inform the nurses, they do everything in their power to NOT check her for a UTI.... make excuses for her behavior..."it's just part of her decline" etc. And now they have a "new rule" that there has to be 3 criteria to check her for a UTI!! What?!? It is not a hard thing to do and they want to bicker over sticks and twigs!! They repeatedly leave her call button where it can't be reached (she is mostly immobile) and REPEATEDLY forget to turn her oxygen on!!! SHE IS OXYGEN DEPENDENT!! I have photos of some of these instances. We have come in on countless occasions and found her lips and face to be bluish/purple due to lack of oxygen because they have not turned it on for her. There have been so many issues that I am not going to even touch the tip of them here but what I can say is if you or a loved one are considering this facility for long term, PLEASE do your homework. I am aware that all facilities have their issues and that is why we have not moved her. We have someone from our family in with her EVERY day because they can't seem to get it together. We have to tell them she needs to be cleaned and she will sometimes sit in feces for over 30 mins due to them not answering her call button. My grandmas roommate has also had bad experiences. There is a pair of nurses that she calls "the big witch and the little witch" because they are so mean to her. She will not report for fear of retaliation. It's a sad place. We are fighting them daily! Ok is not even remotely good enough when you are talking about caring for some of our most vulnerable members of society and they are far less than OK. BE WARNED!

Food is poor. Attitudes of staff is not healthcare grade, unless you want poor healthcare. There is as always a few shining stars who unfortunately get lost amidst those with minimal training and a "whatever" attitude. A rehabilitation center should be just that but a half hour physical therapy a day at the most is definitely inadequate. Food is absolutely not up to par for a health facility although as someone who prefers a vegan diet and lifestyle the dietary officials tried to help me stay within my dietary needs. Initially I felt like an alien from another planet when trying to explain my dietary needs. This is 2019 right?? Overall such a horrible experience I would rather risk being home alone.

Was patient there and felt traumatized by the whole experience. Call bells answered when staff felt like it. Food was mostly inedible. Shower area was ridiculously small, often not you didnt get clean. I was there for rehab and it was a joke. There was inadequate equipment for getting someone back on their feet. One of the therapist was like 350 lbs. You only had 30 minutes therapy and if you weren't ready then you didn't get it that day.
