THIS IS THE PLACE!! We have a dear friend who has lived at Fairmount for a little over a year. We have found the staff particularly loving and caring. They are competent and take excellent care of everything he needs and wants. The atmosphere is homey and the activities involving. Most importantly, our friend is happy there. Recently a second friend has also decided to live at Fairmount and he, also, is very happy with his care there.

This is an exceptional facility with exceptional staff! I am a home health nurse. I have seen many facilities and the best indicators of the care at a facility is staff to resident ratio and how long the staff stays. But Fairmount is unique. It's large enough to offer more activities than small homes, but they still have an intimate, caring atmosphere. Even more unique is how they strive to improve the lives of the residents by bringing in "Life" through things like children piano concert, equestrian visits, and a chicken coop in the back. It doesn't look as fancy as some newer places, but trust me, fancy is not always better. I am so glad my father spent his final days among these caring people.

Fairmount is an amazing facility. I am impressed with how well the staff communicates with my 90-year old mother. Their kindness, patience, availability and willingness to help brings tremendous comfort to our family. We are very pleased that mom is receiving the best care. Mom has a lovely room, receives good food, and enjoys the live entertainment. Fairmount is a warm and beautiful place to live.

I have worked here for over a year and I have to say it has been one of the most rewarding experiences. I truly appreciate everyone that has worked and lived here because they make this place a home not just an assisted living community. The families have always been extremely appreciative towards the staff and it makes a difference in the long run. I feel like a grandson to the residents I have gotten to take care of. I think what makes this community different than other is the relationships between the residents and the caregivers, we spend everyday together and you really get to learn a lot about the people you're taking care of. We have a great relationship with not only our own staff but with the nurses, doctors and hospice workers that come in to help take care of your family members. It all makes a world of difference.

Our mom moved here after a terrible experience at a Large Corporate assisted living facility. After that experience and visiting many homes, I can say that I do not believe she could find a facility with more caring owners or staff. The staff is always interacting and socializing with the residents and are always helpful and informative to us. The owners are always there and we never have problems communicating with them. Everyone is very accommodating, professional and caring. I would highly recommend Fairmont to anyone who needs assisted living.
