Apparently Mr. Tom Hines (Director) thinks it's normal for patients to fall and break body parts everyday. Maybe it's normal for the facility if a different individual falls every day. That makes total sense! But the same person falling 2-3 times a week and fracturing bones often under paid supervision/care is not normal. This is a place to leave and forget about your family or cared ones. Not a safe place. There is not enough supervision for the elderly people in need in this facility. I am very disappointed and feel very ashamed and humiliated by the way the staff/nurses and directors have treated us as the family and my grandmother (the patient falling 2-3 times a week). And there is no one you can call for help.

Only non profit nursing home in Tucson. They won't throw you out if you run out of funds. Truly caring place with very good Kosher food. Many activities and employees who care

What a wonderful place. My Father has been there for several weeks now and the staff, both medical and administrative, are very kind and knowledgeable. They helped us every step of the way and I cannot imagine having gone through this situation without their help. It was not a one size fits all approach, they really care and are extremely attentive to the needs of their clients.

Handmaker is one of the most clean, huge, professional staff, polite personnel ever. My mother was there ordered from her doctor and our social worker suggested that place here in Tucson Arizona in Pima County. The first day we didn't know exactly what to expect, but nurses and technicians did answer all our questions regarding my mom's staying for therapy. They have several sections with an amazing facilities in each section and I should say that the security of this place is great, if you are visiting after hours, you need to call from the phone by the main entry, then they will direct you so you can come in. In the section my mom stayed it was always lit, no mater what time of the day is, hallways thru the whole building is well illuminated, each room has their own television set with remote control, closet, counter, air conditioning, adjustable bed (not exactly hospital bed, but close) vinyl floors throughout and restrooms with bars. Each bed includes a "buzzer" to call for help. Breakfast, lunch and dinner times always in time and with a delicious food. They also have bring a piano player, singer and so many distractions for patients. This place is great.
