A dear friend was placed at this facility two days ago. She was taken out of bed while they changed the sheets, and left in a wheel chair for several hours...ALONE. Her husband had to make the bed for her. She was not given her pain med before this. She cannot use her arms at this time so she cannot feed herself,so they wheel her on into the dining room to sit and stare at her food. She is lucid! Can you imagine being hungry and not being able to do anything about it!!!They come to do her physical/occupational therapy while she is sleeping.I realize this occupation is not for everyone, but come on. There are a few Physical Therapists that that have cared, and bravo to them.

Once in a while I get someone who is courteous, and oh now nice that is, but they are so understaffed it is amazing they do as well as they do. I think its austere to say the least and a money maker for the corp. shameful. But my friend in her cramped we three bed nitch is doing ok. Here to improvement and then five stars.

Some of the caregiver's are rude and disrespectful and so is there supervisor I will say the facility is kept pretty clean the corporation that owns the facility is SLOW to spend any money on the place. ?the residents that live there are nice the average age is 70 or close to it. ?

It took only one night to see that this facility is ill run and not fully staffed. Constant loud noise and chaos and not enough staff to cover the residents needs. Had to request medications to be dispensed to my mother as they had not been given to her before my arrival mid-morning; also, she had to wheel herself and her 92 year old roommate to breakfast, as no one came to get her (mother had just had hip surgery 2 days prior). Bathroom door was falling off the hinges which, was a major safety hazard! Mother and I also witnessed a resident get out of his wheelchair and fall to the floor. I, personally, had to run for help. This is a place that I would never leave a loved one again. When I made the decision to remove my mother the nursing staff and director "warned" me that we would have the same situations at other facilities, trying to make me change my mind out of fear. They also requested a $2,170 check up front in case she went over her 20 day insurance covered days. Many empty promises made by the director, that were never fulfilled in the time frame given.
