We had a terrible experience with the "case worker director Rachel" She not only had us wait for 4 hours after my sister was release, because her wheelchair was never ordered. It was her birthday. Treating a patience like an invisible object was just terrible. The day she was leaving was the first time she had event met Rachel. As the Power of Attorney, I needed to be updated. I have called numerous times and have gotten no response. It's now have been 4 days and we still don't have a wheelchair for my sister, who had lost a limb. Someone from a health care company just showed up at her apartment with no appointment. This has been extremely disorganized and confusing. I would like this current mess fixed! I hope a manager is reading this.

First impressions are lasting impressions and Villa Maria's receptionist, Frances, is about the most positive ray of sunshine I've ever gotten at ANY institution! She beams with positivity and genuine caring. She is always so friendly and helpful and takes her job seriously. It's no wonder the residents make their way to the lobby to hang out with her and get a dose of her infectious laughter and radiant smile! Then, when her shift is over, she makes her way to check on residents that have come to rely on her consistent and infectious joy and friendship. Above and beyond...

Our relative recently moved from Assisted Living South to the Long Term Care section of Villa Maria. I cannot thank the staff enough, particularly the Social Work Team of Raquel and Zenea as well as Eileen from Life Enrichment for all their time consuming and caring help to make the move go as easily and harmoniously as possible.

Villa Maria Care Center was the highlight of my weekend. I am not an elder needed to be in the care center, but after a volunteer trip to Villa Maria, I was happy. Villa Maria is a wonderful place for elderly. Elders are cared for tentatively while having the same services and convenient provided in the outside world. I remembered that someone had a birthday on the next day, but since we cannot return the next day, we wished him Happy Birthday and danced to the music with him.
