The rooms are lovely. The staff are all wonderful.... The kitchen/dining situation is horrible. Food is never served hot, always takes 45 minutes just to get food after waiting 15 minutes just to order. My wife was here 6 months before I took her out....beware . BUT...if they fix the kitchen situation, the review goes to a 4 star. Ask for Luria activity director. She is amazing. Ask to speak to Lloyd. He is also an amazing person who knows every resident by name and is a special caring man who will look out for you.....

Meadowbrook has proved itself a great place to have your senior loved one live. My mother is 99 years old and has been there 6 years this month. Very helpful and super friendly staff, plenty of food and desserts to keep everyone happy, nice celebrations for birthdays and holidays, and I never had a problem with Management. I've been very happy with Meadowbrook. Bob D.

Meadowbrook is awesome. My cousin has been there for 16 months and she loves the food, activities, staff and other residents. The activities are excellent including outside high quality entertainment, crafts, education, religious services, games all presented with passion and care. The rooms, grounds and surrounding areas are beautiful. The have outings to the beach, shopping, historical point of interest multiple tines per week. Also vans to medical appointments. They have waiting lists for certain rooms which is understandable. The Director Lloyd and Activities Director Lauria are caring and very competent. Really the best!!!

If You Truly care for your loved one you would not even consider this facility. The Service & Care is mediocre at best ONE caregiver at night and the residents are treated like cows in the feed lot. The facility used to be acceptable since it is in a good convenient location but since the new management came in the service is just horrible. Imagine sending your loved one to the facility & finding out that the Medication they are supposed to be taking not administered properly & if they should require help expect to wait at least 45(If You are Lucky). The facility is guilty of False Advertising since everything claimed in the website other than the Building Structure is nothing but a BIG JOKE! Please Spare your loved one Trauma & consider housing them someplace other that this facility.

Meadowbrook is an amazing place! My grandfather is a resident here, and the care he receives is incredible. A little about my grandfather-he is a 93 year old World War II vet (was injured on Iwo Jima). He has been suffering from progressive dementia for the past couple of years, and when this started it became clear that he would not be able to safely live alone in his house. After much research, my family found Meadowbrook. Although my grandpa would prefer to live independently, as he always has, Meadowbrook is the next best thing. His "apt" is truly like a small apt, and he is given the freedom to do what he pleases, but with staff watching to make sure he does not do anything to jeopardize his safety (which is becoming an increasing issue). On the most basic level, the place is very clean, cheerfully and tastefully decorated, and has a good atmosphere. The most impressive part to me, though, is the staff. I have been to visit him a number of time, and the staff is always cheerful, professional, and ready to help in any way possible. My grandpa is not always an easy person to deal with, but the staff know how to joke with him and address his needs in a dignified and caring way. Although my grandpa was not initially happy about others making his food, he consistently tells us how good the food is. If it wasn't good, we would know about it! After having several meals there myself, I can say they are absolutely of restaurant quality. I always look forward to sharing a meal with him there. When a loved one has to leave their home of many years, it's never easy, but my family and I are very thankful for places like Meadowbrook where we know grandpa is in a safe, comfortable and responsive environment.
