Silverado Calabasas and its wonderful staff came into our lives at a very critical time of my husband's dementia. He has a very rare combination of two different types of dementias and they were so warm, caring and professional with our transition into the facility. They were there when I needed it the most and I cannot say enough about every staff member there.

I visit this place often because I have a loved one who volunteers in this community and I am always amazed at how kind and compassionate the team is here. The staff is ready to assist anyone, from the front staff to the different team members. The managers are helpful and the staff do their best given that they care for people with different levels of dementia. I see that at times, there are families that are unhappy but the staff remain calm and speak to them with respect. The place is always clean, residents are smiling, and the pets help make the place look like home. This is a gem of a place and for me, the people who work there are heroes! Thank you, Silverado!

Most loving and caring treatment my husband could have received. The staff were all compassionate and attentive to his needs and displayed a remarkable ability to see past his very difficult behavior and see the man he really was. They could not have been more helpful and supportive through the most difficult time in our lives. I would give Silverado Calabasas 10 stars if I could.

Quite unclean and unsanitary. . Several issues with scabies outbreaks the past couple years. Scabies is highly contagious and takes rigor to contain. My aunt had many rashes including ringworm while residing there. This past September, she saw a nurse outside the facility, who diagnosed her rash as scabies. She has since left Silverado and her items were sanitized. Her skin is getting better.
