I've been to quite a few senior living communities and nothing stacks up to Blossom Grove and their awesome team they have working there. Their community is beautiful and smells like roses (which isn't common if you've toured at a few different places). Vicky and her whole team (Morgan , Mechelle , and Lori) bend over backwards to make sure you're loved one is cared for. If you are looking for a great place for your loved one to call home I would definitely recommend Blossom Grove. Before your tour ask them to try their infamous "Blossom water".

This is by far the worst place ever!! I toured here one morning besides the nice lady giving me the tour staff was rude no one smiled didn't feel welcoming at all and the place is overly loud spots all over the floor smells of urine I understand it's a place for Alzheimer's and Dementia but I seen residents hitting one another spitting I just wouldn't feel safe with my mother here at all.

I recently toured Blossom Grove and was very impressed. Smelled great, great interior and exterior designs. Very welcoming staff. I like the furnished bedrooms. I saw all residents engaged in some sort of activity. I like this memory care and the quality of care they provide for their residents is superb! I have an an aunt with memory issues and I would love for her to live at Blossom Grove!

This place is absolutely AMAZING!!! The building is beautiful, clean and I really love the staff and how they are with my grandmother. I can't say enough good things, I know she's in great hands and I'm so pleased!!!! Great job Blossom Grove!

I would start out to say if you have a loved one there, each time you visit, do a body scan. The HORRIFIC rash my MIL had, got Kaiser Permanente Social services attention. The bed sore that she had was the icing on the cake. We were not aware of the situation until we had to take her to the ER. I was called by the so called nurse at Blossom Grove saying mom needed to have her leg checked again as she had fallen a couple weeks prior and her leg was still sore. I was able to get an appointment for the next morning and I let Blossom Grove know. About 4 hours later, the nurse called and said that we needed to take her in ASAP, and we might need to start her on Hospice.! What the hell happened in those few hours? I rushed to the home. They told me she was possibly emergent. What I found was my mom in a recliner, slumped over. Her nightgown was soaked and they had her in a soaked diaper, which she was wearing underwear up until the day before. I suppose the soaking wet diaper explained part of the rash, not all. (The rash was under her breasts, down her stomach, in her belly folds, and her entire crotch and groin were scalded.) She was total dead weight, unable to speak or walk. I got her to the urgent care at Kaiser 3 miles away. Her body temp was 86 degrees! How in Hell does someone drop 12 degrees from normal and this incredible nursing staff were CLUELESS about it? She had sepsis and was in congestive heart failure. She died in ICU less than 36 hours later. We made an appointment to see the manager of Blossom Grove. The head nurse was there as well. I asked them how they determine a patient to be emergent, did they take vitals? Oh yes they did. I asked if vitals for them included temperature, and they said of course. I asked them if a patient had a temp of 86 would it concern them. Oh, they said of course, yet, it didn't seem to matter when it came to my mom. We also asked how she went from walking to the bathroom, using the toilet less than 24 hours prior, to needing to be evaluated for hospice? My husband was with her and saw that she was functioning on her own. They seemed stumped. I also asked if they were still assisting her to shower, and they said yes. Mike then showed them the pictures that he obtained from Kaiser. I then asked how could she look like that if someone really was helping to wah and dry her? Would it concern them? No response... We NEVER would have placed our mom in that hell-hole at over 5 grand a month ( or for free for that matter) if we had any idea of how she would be treated. I cannot take the visions of that horrific rash on her poor body out of my mind. I was the one who found this place for her. I will feel responsible for this for the rest of my life. Don't let it happen to your loved one. Funny part of it all, is they were real quick to let us know we would be charged for each day until we moved her things out of her room. They were more interested in getting every last penny from us than they were in the actual welfare of the patient.
