My Mom has lived here for 3 years. She is happy living in a small family home with excellent care and activities. The owner is available to answer any questions and often works 2-3 shifts per week. I highly recommend this assisted living facility.

I can't say enough posative things about Country Haven. They treated my Grand Mother with so much care and kindness. All the family members of other residents I have got to know over the years all say the same, that Country Haven is a wonderful place for thier loved one. It's hard to put a price on excellent care and compassion. The owner Ken is accessible 24/7. Country Haven is a blessing.

I never thought I would have to put my mom into an assisted living place, so when the time came for that to happen, I wanted somewhere that would feel as close to her home as possible. For us, that was Country Haven. I started by looking at larger facilities, but they felt sterile to me and I knew my mom wouldn't be happy eating the generic mush they served. When we went to Country Haven, we were given a tour. Country Haven is small and seems almost more like a large house than a hospital. It was clean but also comfortable, so that was nice. My mom and I both liked the lunch. We had soup and sandwiches-- not mush. They told me that families often join their residents for holiday meals. After lunch, we saw some of the residents doing crafts in the tv room. Other ladies were sitting on the chairs in the central hallway. The staff people were sitting and talking with them. There was a sweet dog there, getting pet by the ladies. It kind of caught me off-guard to see it there, but my mom is an animal lover, so she was happy about it! Country Haven was the place we ended up sticking with and I can relax knowing that my mom is happy and well-cared for. I have been by to visit my mom on a regular basis. The people who work there recognize me and many months later, I still haven't experienced any of the rudeness that the previous reviewer mentioned.

If you want to be treated rudely, check these people out! I would not put my mother in this place if it were the last place on Earth! That is all I have to say... Becky F
