Our soon to be 90 year old mother, grandmother, and great grandmother moved into the Kensington just about a month ago. She loves it; we love it. The facility, staff, quality and level of care and engagement with residents and their families is better then you could ever imagine. And the food is exceptional as well! It's definitely worth a visit!

Our Mom spent her final years at The Kensington where she got the loving care that their ad claims is absolutely true. "We promise to love and care for your family as we do our own." The staff is well trained in caring for those suffering from dementia in gentle, patient and loving ways. They are amazing in all they do to stimulate residents and allow them to enjoy life, with live music, theatrical performances and outings for meals and visits to museums and gardens. There are added bonuses of on-site beauty parlor and physical therapy practice, as well as doctors that visit residents there, avoiding the need to take Mom out to doctors. And they made us feel like we were part of their family, always welcoming us for visits and to share meals and holidays with Mom and helping us in innumerable ways. You can do no better than entrust the care of your family member to the Kensington Sierra Madre family of caregivers.

My 91 year old mother and I have been privileged to attend some special events and lactures at the beautiful Kensington in Sierra Madre. One recently attended event featured a trip around the world food odyssey with passports issued for each food station. The servers were costumed in the country of each station and the regional offerings were delicious. There were decorations to match including an incredible ice sculpture and live music as well. The novelty and creativity of this event were amazing. As always, all the staff members were warm and gracious. Bravo, Kensington!! Alyce Minsky

I live out of town, as such I do not have the opportunity to visit but a few times a year. My Aunt is happy living at the Kensington, with her "other" family. When I am in town, I am treated so lovely too! Always with such courtesy - such a positive experience. Being responsible/POA and living far away, it brings such serenity knowing she is well cared for and safe. I'm amazed to get those calls that start with "everything is okay, we just wanted to let you know how your Aunt is doing today..." Thank you! D. Ross
