Emmy and the staff have been so kind and attentive to our mom that no words can give enough thanks. If I could give higher marks, I would. Steve Renard

I feel extremely lucky that we were able to find a place for my mother with Emmy. I'm not given to superlatives, but Emmy and her staff are simply excellent. As my mother's care manager said, "Emmy is a gem." It is clear that, in addition to her medical and organizational professionalism, Emmy takes a personal interest in her seniors. From the beginning, when my mother (who has dementia) came for a temporary stay, and Emmy stayed up nights to help her feel comfortable, the care that my mother has received from Emmy and her staff has been outstanding on the professional side, and sensitive and caring on the personal side. The list of things that Emmy and her staff do is long, and includes caring for my mother's comfort and personal appearance, involving her in activities inside and outside of the home, and maintaining a perceptive and informed understanding of her health issues. I live out of state, and had been expecting to move my mother close to me, but she is so content and well cared for at Emmy's that, although I'd love to have her closer, I don't even think about now. My advice is simple: if you have the chance to find a place for your loved one at Emmy's, take it!

My mother has been a resident of At Home Senior Living for over six months now, and I can't say enough good things about Emmy Ng and her staff. Before moving into Emmy's home, Mom had been a resident of a very large assisted living facility for several years. While it was very nice, it had far too many residents and too few caregivers for Mom to receive the kind of attention she needed as her health declined. I spent several months searching for a smaller, more personal environment for Mom and interviewed many different caregivers, but had not been able to find the kind of place where I was confident that Mom would be better off. Finally, I spoke to Mom's doctor about my concerns and the doctor told me about Emmy's home care residence for seniors, having had another patient who had been a resident there. Once I talked with Emmy, visited her home, and met the other caregivers, I was convinced that I had found the right place for Mom. Six months later, I am still delighted that Mom found a place with Emmy. She is undoubtedly the most dedicated person I have ever met, with respect to senior care, and has the most impressive background of anyone I interviewed. She is an R.N. with much experience in senior care, and lives on the premises. In addition to Emmy, there are two other full-time caregivers for a maximum of six residents. Mom receives all the kindly, affectionate, and humorous interaction with the staff and other residents that she could possibly need, and constant observation and assistance if needed throughout the day and night. Her medications and vital signs are meticulously monitored and recorded, and Emmy accompanies Mom to most doctor's visits to fill them in on how Mom is doing, and to coordinate Mom's medical care with the doctors. Every one of Mom's doctors has commented to me that they are very impressed with Emmy's professionalism and her high level of care for Mom. To top it off, Emmy plans numerous activities, outings, crafts, visitors, and entertainments for the residents and there is a daily range-of-motion and mental exercise session for all residents, which they all seem to enjoy very much. Emmy's home is lovely, bright, safe, and cheerful, and I will always be grateful that Mom has the good fortune to live there. I give Emmy Ng and her staff my wholehearted recommendation.
