Most horrible place to work for, employees give a lot of attitude, all employees. Residents aren't taken care of. I would not recommend bringing your parents here. I wouldn't. Food is bland. Care is ignored.

My mother lived at Paramount House for 2 years until she passed away in April 2016 and it was a great experience for the whole family. Mom made great friends and enjoyed her independence in her apartment because of all the support she received. We knew she was well taken care of and the staff was always responsive to her needs. I was there at least once a week during the length of her stay and I always found the facility clean and the residents happy and engaged. It has a "family feel" and it is smaller than some of the other local options so it was perfect for my mother.

My niece stopped in unannounced to tour for me. I live in Spokane WA and my brother and I are looking for placement for our mom in Vacaville so my niece volunteered to do some of the footwork for me. No one was there that could help her and the receptionist did not know where any of the managers were. My niece asked for a brochure and a price list and she got a little flyer that was a year old with no prices. She went back the next day and got a tour and handwritten prices. She said the place smelled like urine and the Marketing person did nothing but bad mouth other facilities she had already looked at. My niece was told there would be no AL living facility that could meet my stepfather's medical needs. I worked in AL for 7 years and I know that is untrue. When my niece left the first visit she heard the receptionist say how embarrassed she was for not knowing where anyone was to give the tour. I think this is bad business for any facility. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. --Diane French
