Juniper Village is a great option for people looking for a high quality memory care community in Denver. The management staff and care providers are caring, loving and treat everyone with respect. This facility should be high on your list to tour if you are looking for a home for your loved one that struggles with memory loss.

Juniper Village at Aurora is such a wonderfully caring and supportive memory care community. Each staff member is specifically trained in dementia care techniques such as providing care, communicating and understanding of the disease process. I'm so proud to be part of the Juniper Village team since 2011. As a 20+ year veteran of the senior care industry I have always felt confident recommending a Juniper community, even before I joined the team.

I have worked at Juniper Village for almost a year now. After being in this industry for quite some time, words cannot express the comfort that this village gives its family members. There are caregivers who have worked there since the day the community opened over 16 years ago. That is unheard of in this industry and speaks volumes of the owners unique vision. I couldn't be more proud to be a member of this team.

I went to this facility with my mother. It is a difficult task for a son to consider placing a mother in a facility. It is a beautiful building but I felt like the staff were telling me what I wanted to hear - one time she switched her story after I had an opinion. I am out of state and getting honest feedback is so important to me. I chose any facility that was not nearly as fancy but I trusted the staff, which I didn't feel like I could do at Juniper on the basis of my visit.

This week has bee a horrible experience for me. The manager, Jennifer Harris, assured me that she would contact me regarding my mother as she was passing away. She did not do that. No one called my as my mother slipped away. No one called me for 20 minutes after her passing on Sept 2nd. Then the nurse left a message on my phone. Really? I live 2 miles away and I had always told Jennifer that I needed to be there for my mother as she passed. Jennifer Harris prevented me from being there. Jennifer Harris prevented me from being there for my mother, one of the longest-living residents at Juniper. Today, Jennifer refused to let me go to my mother's room and take the photos of my son and grandchildren. How horrible!! She absolutely refused to let me go there. She is illegally keeping my photos, which could not have any meaning for her. Those photos can only have meaning for me, and Jennifer will not allow me to get them. This is horrible management. I urge everyone to consider carefully whether to have family members stay at Juniper village.
