Elevator is FREQUENTLY broken stranding residence in the S 3rd floor stranded. Food is good some of the time, cold and tasteless when the main chef is not there. Residents have complained about jewelry and cash stolen.

Having had spent a lot of time with my parent at this facility in their memory care while locating a better facility for her, I saw a lot of neglect. Residents are not looked after, cared for or treated with the kind of respect they inform you they will. The small staff they have are clearly not trained to handle the special nature of an Alzheimer/Dementia patient. Don't believe the sales tactics they use ... they are NOT an all level care facility for Alzheimer's. Barely a level 1 facility. There are better facilities that you can trust and have comfort that your loved one is being taken care of properly ... Atria is NOT IT!

Both my grandparents lived here for several years. Eventually moving into memory care. I believed the staff did care for them well and cared about them. I think there could have been slightly more supervision, but at a difficult time in their lives this was as close to home as they could get.

The entire staff at Atria Inn at Lakewood are absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is very welcoming, personal & friendly yet professional from the moment you walk in the door. It would be difficult to write about Atria without mentioning the excellent food! The dining room and kitchen staff are to be commended for their talent and ability to please the residents individual tastes. The activities team does an excellent job with keeping the residents busy and smiling. The care givers are amazing!! They are all very helpful and patient with my mother in law Jo. When we were waiting for access one day to Jo's new apartment, we couldn't help but notice the enthusiasm and positive attitude of Tammy & also Susan one of the care givers. That gave us great confidence that we were bringing her to the right place. Thank you very much to ALL the excellent Atria Inn at Lakewood staff. Roger & Janine

I give Atria Inn at Lakewood 5 Stars! My mother-in-law has been a resident in assisted living for 2 1/2 years and just this month moved to the Life Guidance (memory care) side of Atria. Our experience with Atria has been overwhelmingly positive, especially considering putting your mom in Assisted Living is not always a positive experience. Special kudos to: * Tammy at the front desk who always greets with a smile! * Trish, just one of the many caretakers who care for Carol everyday. * Lexie, who organizes activities equal to a luxury cruise ship! * Alisa, the director in memory care who is helping with the transition. There are so many warm and loving people who work at Atria, I cannot thank them enough for the care and compassion they show my mother-in-law everyday.
