This community and the staff have great BIG hearts! They made the life for my family and loved one very special and personal. The building is clean and beautiful and the the pool was a blast. The aides were always very helpful and always were there when we needed them! I will always be thankful for the love and the care they gave us, and could never say enough thank you to everyone at boy ton east.

When I needed to find a place for my grandparents, it took me approximately 3 years. I toured almost every ALF from Deerfied Beach north to Jupiter and Brookdale East Boynton Beach (formerly Emeritus) was the only facility that was clean, had a staff that was welcoming, great pricing & the best size rooms available. Everyone that works there is always willing to help and always has a smile on their face. I moved my grandparents in 2 1/2 years ago, my grandfather has since passed and I can tell you I am so pleased with the way they took care of both of them and now take care of my grandmother. They call and inform me of everything that is going on, ask me questions, tend to her every need. I am always at peace knowing that she is in good hands. Any time anyone asks about an ALF I refer them to my 2nd home. So, if you are looking for a great place for your loved one, you have found it!!!! Call them, take a tour and I'm sure you will be happy. God Bless!

Beware: BAD, BAD, BAD. They are under staffed all the time. They have lots of stealing from the residents rooms. My dad had everything that was worth anything stolen, even his towels, sheets, money clip, clothes, jackets, candy, shaver, money, scissors, dvd player. You name it they steal it. I had my father in this facility for 3 1/2 years. Rugs in the rooms and hallways are 20 years old. Elevators and hallways dirty. Little to NO management or visual management there. Christine (manager) is always somewhere else. Steve, Head of Nursing is not full time. NO one is full time so NO one knows who does what or who was there. They cover up and make excuses. Basically, the front receptionist is left to run the place. They don't have an answering service to leave a message. In the so called WELLNESS Center they DO NOT treat the CALL ALERT WITH ANY URGENCY. Your loved one who fell in the shower or hit their head will wait 15-30 minutes for someone to respond. They hire mostly foreigners and low pay. UNDERSTAFFED AND UNDERPAID for the duties they give them. Not worth the money they are asking for. It is all about the money not the care and they trim the staff to nothing. AT the end when my dad was dying they were unethical, cruel, abandon and discriminated against my father. (he is white). They would not let him come back from the hospital to die with full time Hospice care 24/7. His 90 year old girlfriend was also there at the asst. living in the room next to him and they told me (his daughter he could not come back. They told us it was a corporate discussion. They would not tell us why or nor have they replied to our many e mails and calls. MY father died in my home in the dining room, NOT in the Emeritus asst. living of Boynton Village where he called home for 3 1/2 years and wanted to go home and die. He never wanted to die in a Hospital. Emeritus left us hanging with NO where to go with my father at the last minute. My father was a gentle soul and they did not care about his wishes or dignity at the end. I have reported them to Ombudsman and AHCA for the cruel, abuse and abandonment. I hurt and feel so guilty because of what they did. I am a voice for the Elderly that have no voice. I am an advocate for the Elderly they are helpless. I am their eyes because they are not seen. I am their ears for they do not hear. Their minds are fragile like children and not taken serious or heard.
