I didn't have such a good experience in the beginning with this facility. I could write about the bad and it is quite bad, however this facility redemed itself with a few of other employees. I'm going to start of with Michelle in outpatient care, building A. She went above and beyond for me to make sure I was taken care of. She did all my paperwork for me and was talked to me like we were old friends. She has been there 14 years and you can tell she loves what she does. She got me an appointment same day and within 10 mins with Dr. Sham. Dr. Sham was thoughtful and very considerate of my diagnosis and went over detail over my treatment plan. I just want to say that the facility may have issues like any business, but there are caring people there.

The staff in general were very nice and helpful considering the attitude of some of the patients, and the volume of patients they have to process daily - I will not leave a comment about a certain Doctor - enough said about what I thought of them in having me sign a blank paper about meds and filing it in later, like signing a blank contract and we will fill in the blanks later - very unethical. I was under the impression it was for the meds I was currently on - I was threatened I would be there forever if I did not take meds I knew I should not of been on by the Doctor mentioned above. I will not post her name out of privacy of records. My primary care physician even wonders why they had me on them. My polarized sunglasses got misplaced from a visitor not being allowed to give then to me - I called back and the staff even went to supervisor level to try and find them so I would not have to replace a $15 item. The staff I dealt with were very accommodating considering all the rules they had to follow just to try and locate them. They had no luck finding them, but did not ignore me. Considering all in all, I have been in worse places, thus the 5 star rating.

Severely disappointed with the customer service with your organization. I am required to sign a consent form for my son in order to have him remain eligible for his health insurance. I've made multiple attempts at contacting the office regarding having the forms faxed or emailed to me due to my limitations for commuting, yet to no avail. Finally, someone reached out to me, but in a rude manner with an attitude that suggested that I was wasting her time. I'm a concerned and desperate parent frustated and running out of options...

Totally incompetent. No help at all would be better than subjecting a patient in need of help to this facility. It would be a big setback.

In trying to assist a friend in crisis this week I called their hotline and the response I received was very disappointing. The female on the call was obviously eating her dinner and her loud chomping of her food was very distracting. Although they did not "specialize" in the particular situation my friend was experiencing she was unable to provide any resources that could. She told me she would do some additional research and call me back but never did. Need better training for staff as I could also hear the entire background conversation about Baker Acting a particular individual. Not good! I didn't give up trying to find my friend someone to talk to and was able to locate a crisis hotline in Massachusetts where someone was available to speak to my friend for almost an hour. Palm Beach County needs to take lessons from them. Although the mental health system in this country is marginal at best South County needs to enlist in additional training with individuals manning their crisis hotline. I really felt that I was bothering this individual during her dinner break. Shame on her! I gave a 2 star hoping that maybe she helped someone last Monday night.
