Over the last 7 years I have had both my parents at Grand blvd for rehab. My mother was their on 2 occasions due to falls resulting in fractures. Each time was a positive experience. My mom loved the staff & made many friends along the residents. I would be there at all hours & never once witnessed anything but caring & friendly staff. My dad , unfortunately did not recover due to multiply ongoing health issues. We choose to put him on hospice. He was treated with dignity & respect & most of all love & caring.I Thank the staff at Grand blvd.

I have worked in this building for almost 5 years and Grand Boulevard is truely my home. The pay is among the top for the area, but it is so much more than that. When I first came here I was met with open arms, like I was meeting a new family. I learned so much from the woman that trained me and now I consider her a very dear friend. There is not an employee or resident there that I wouldn't defend with my life. It is most definitely a place that recognizes and rewards hard work. Our administrator is very fair and has wonderful character. You don't come across too many that will come in the middle of the night to help the staff, which he has done on more than one occasion. He is very approachable and he almost never in his office because he usually checking on the floor staff. Our DON is truly wonderful. I know that I can come to her with any problem I have, even if it's a personal one, and she will help. She literally answered one of my bathroom lights and helped me with the resident yesterday. I feel loved and respected by my supervisors as well. We care for our residents both long term and short like they are our family. We all cheer for their triumphs, cry for their losses, we pray with them, and for them almost daily. We certainly mourn them if they pass. We treat them with the respect and dignity that they deserve. Our residents love us as well. We all send our family here if they need help. I have honestly never met such a collective of hard working compassionate people before coming to work here. I would recommend working and sending your loved ones here.

I have worked here for 18 yrs.i am proud to say we have a lot of long term employees. That alone says somthing good. Over the yrs i have cared for many resident and i can not count the ones that chose to return because of good care.the number one reason they choose to come back or refer friends is because the staff truley cares.i myself had my dad there while he recovered from a broken hip.he loved it there. Ive heard it said if you do what you love. You wont work a day in your life.i find thid to be true.we are a small place and we do our job taking care of ppl with love. We treat the whole person. We have even taken care of employees because they chose to come her

I have a friend who use to work there and from what I heard This is not a good place to work they pretend that it's all about teamwork and it's really not they have all types of family members and close friends working there all type of favoritism going on the rules only apply to certain people when it's convenient for them they are short staffed on CNAS and they are so overworked they are literally tired new CNAS don't last 2 weeks before they realize it's too much work because they throw people out on the floor and nobody helps them Nurses don't help at all they don't answer call lights they don't care about the CNAS and the workload they have to carry they try to put more work on them they write people up for no reason the Administrator who don't know what the hell he is doing or how to run the building lets the D.O.N run the place the D.O.N is EVIL she talks to people like they are beneath her like they are gum stuck on the bottom of a shoe she's biased and shows favoritism towards certain people she's unfit to be the D.O.N she's not a team player she won't get on the floor and help when short staffed like the previous D.O.N the place is nasty patients get neglected State needs to be called on this place and the building needs to be shut down for good worst nursing home to work for they make everything sound good but in reality when you actually work there you'll see Grand Blvd for what they really are the overturn for this place is horrible they lied and said they had the lowest overturn rate but that is a lie People quit allllllll the time they never can keep people PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PEOPLE DONT WORK FOR THEM OR SEND YOUR FAMILY THERE
