I visited looking for a place for my senior parents in-law. I was impressed by atmosphere and quietness of the grounds. A tour of the 3 types of independent living apartments showed good care of the building and facilities as well as willingness to work with the occupants on flooring etc. The staff seemed very pleasant, professional and instructive. We sent a contract to our loved ones for inspection. The facility is also very convenient for us.

I worked at this facility for a little less then a year. My original boss quit due ti family matters and left a new boss who didn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. The new boss left us high and dry with no help when we were shorted staff constantly. Myself along with other employees where treated very badly. They use fooddye in some foods to make them look freash or flavorful to save money. This place is despicable. I'm currently trying to get a job and until I get the reference from this place they won't officially hire me. I've been trying for a week to get the reference. Myself and my mother have both tried contacting Mrs. Linda Dow at this facility and left many messages and still are receiving nothing. This facility is a joke and waist of time. The employees are a joke. I honestly hope this facility gets shut down or that the owner finds more appropriate workers for his facility. When I first started working there it was great. Then my boss quit and we got a new boss and that's when the place started going down hill. Either way I will never bring my grandparents to any Brookdale facility. They deserve better.

This is a nice place for elderly where they can have normal social life and get to be taken care well. Employees are always on smile and well mannered.

Not the place for my folks. After 5 years of seeing the place go downhill, we finally moved them out.

I have a loved one at this facility. Overall I think they are receiving adequate care. Currently, the service and cleanliness of the dinning rooms is substandard. While this is my opinion, there are concrete and undeniable instances of poor quality. Missing condiments on the table - the often disabled population must get up to retrieve lemon, sweetener, proper silverware. Presentation of menu; tattered and food stained. Accuracy of request - Not getting the residents orders right Lack of staffing and supervision - while residents are asking for assistance, drink refill, correcting of wrong orders; several staff were sitting and chatting. Dirty dishes and used glasses remaining on the table - very unappetizing! At this time in this populations lives, eating is one of the few pleasures left. This facility should make meal time special.
