So I stopped coming into work because I am 8 months pregnant & these people don't care about the residents let alone their employees because they don't follow periodical. Let their residents fall and don't make incident reports a resident had a torn rotator cuff for a month and no one reported it because he has parkisans and he was there in pain and they did nothing but give him Tylenol. They give different timing meds all together because they are low on staff and people were falling left and right. Now apparently after I quit, they gave me my punch in for time clock late so the days that was written and not punched in I'm not getting paid for. I recieved payment for one of three days . The business director Erin ignored my calls. The executive director Linda (Number1) Didn't care when I texted her. A person I was working with cussed me out and she did nothing. Mind you in front of residents. This place is extremely unprofessional they seem like such nice people I thought it was going to be an amazing job but I can't believe this place is still up and running. I really hope people second guess putting their family members here as expensive as it is they don't recieve proper care .

Residents complained often about poor service from the management team and few felt completely ignored at times because their request were not always carried out and complaints were ignored sometimes, several stated. Although, the residents are very friendly and kind, making a great community. I personally wouldn't place my grandparents here even though they both are independents, I wouldn't want them having any problems with getting the littlest of tasks completed by the staff.

My aunt and her companion, in their mid-90s, have been assisted-living residents of The Barrington since June 2014. They're happy and well cared for in a handsome Art Deco residence that is convenient to a large number of hotels, restaurants and shops of all kinds. The staff is cheerful, supportive and very helpful. All in all, it's a very good place.
