    They don't treat the residents right they be dirty they don't help them with feeding. They mistreat them. Residents be having bruses these CNA don't care much about them. Very sad te see whats going on in this place. I think the family memebers should put hidden cameras in there rooms n see how they be with them. This is the one in Sarasota fl. And Mary Joe don't care either and she's one of the managers. I think they should go deeper in the investigation a lil more. And now they have a new director n it seem like she don't care much either.they should do a better background on these ppl they hire. If they won't treat residents like there own family I think it's best they don't work in that field.

    I usually don't write bad reviews, but this facility really tops the cake, and is probably one of the least professional and most hostile places I've ever seen. The management here has a serious issue with following proper procedures and the poor employees under their supervision tend to be the targets of their hostility and. I truly hope one day that this place will realize and put in a sincere effort to follow proper procedures and make this place 5 stars instead of 1 star!

    If I could give this negative stars I would. My friend worked there for awhile and they would always come to me and relay all their experiences at Harborchase. The environment was very hostile and they told me how people would always talk behind each others back. They were treated very unfairly and I could see that it took a toll on their mental health. Whoever is looking for a job that is a healthy environment and where you look forward to going to work, look someplace else.

    This place is horrible. The management is out of control, the waitstaff are treated terribly, I can hear the cook screaming at the staff all the way in the dining room, making my experience very unpleasant. I want to go back to Egypt after this one encounter. Wiskha is the right word to describe this place in my language!

    The Assisted side is beautiful, one of the best I have ever seen, The food is delicious and by far up to 5 star standards, the head nurse Michelle is great, very comforting and easy to talk to. HOWEVER The director of the memory care side, Jeremy i believe he said his name was, is a damn joke. He could barely answer and of my questions and seemed afraid when interacting with the residents! Also the Director of the facility lied straight to my face! I asked her if they accepted residents with combative habits and she told me no, and if resident relationships were monitored just in case of abuse and again she said that does not happen in that facility, however i happen to see one resident walking around stealing personal possessions out of others rooms and then that particular resident was straddling another male resident essentially forcing her tongue down his throat! When the Aide attempted to approach the resident she threw her bag at her hitting another resident and reached out to hit the aide in her face, then the Aide attempted to move the male resident in another direction and the lady went after her again! except this time almost knocking the male resident to the ground!!!!!!!! These poor Aides tried numerous time to calm this resident down and move her focus else where but that was not happening!!!!!! The Aides for the most part are great, and the reason why i put my mother there -temporarily. However their are 2 on the afternoon shift who, shouldnt have a job working with anyone elderly! The one Marcilene is so incredibly lazy, and rude!!!! i asked if she could help my mother in the bathroom and she told me no shes not my resident wait for Falita- falita whom is the best Aide they have, and was able to answer my questions when the incompetent director couldn't, was more than happy to take my mother to the bathroom when she returned, even as her eyes looked tired she smiled and treated me and my mother with the up-most kindness and care, after talking to a fellow resident family member i found out that this stuff happens all the time, but falita has taken great care of her dad- (even went as far as to leave notes around his room reminding him to ask for help when going to the bathroom and/or when hes "not her resident") i am more than positive the directors have never done such a thing or could have thought of it. I cant remember the other girls name but she locked her self in the staff room the majority of the time, never to be seen!!!!! And those two girls went on there break at 530 and left the other two to watch over the residents and clean up after dinner!!!!! All i kept hearing from them was "not my resident" or i dont want too.. Which left Falita and the other lady Edna, I believe to pick up their slack and i saw this on more than one night!!!!! how do these two other girls have jobs!!!!!!!! Deb as well is such a pleasurable experience and she is someone who i truly believe takes great care of mom as well, she has a great knowledge and understanding of my mothers disease process and how to make things easier on us! I will, however be moving my mother out of this facility as she progress in her disease process. ANd i hope the good staff find places to work who will better appreciate them!
