My husband was sent here post total knee. His room was never cleaned. The bathroom was filthy. He and his roommate reported that the toilet was clogged, no response. The food is atrocious. I cooked and delivered his meals. He brought a cold water circulating machine. This is very helpful for pain management and swelling. He filled it with ice and water himself while trying to navigate with a walker. This is only day three. I am getting him out of there as quickly as possible and will be formally complaining to Medicare and insurance. Pathetic. Unless I am there he is ignored.

Giving this place one star is even too much. Poor quality care and they are way under staffed. When you ring the bell they might come by an hour later...Very highly do not recommend.

The Rehabilitation Center has the most professional and caring staff. I was given a large private room and was given better care than I ever expected. The chef even came by to see if I was happy with the food. I was back on my feet and walking normally again in little more than a week. I highly recommend Brookdale.

Very friendly here, the residents are well taken care of, with a very kind staff. Lots of events and different things going on, so there is always something great to do at Brookdale Palmer Ranch!

Brookdale does not tolerate abuse of any kind. The staff are educated on what constitutes abuse and ways to report abuse before they are allowed any contact with our clients. They are also required on-going training throughout their employment. If this issue was brought to our attention I can assure you that it was dealt with. Doing rehab for longer periods of time can be detrimental to the resident. The healing process is unique to every individual. Our rehab department also has new staff, who are compassionate and knowledgeable. However, patients rights state that a patient may refuse service. I can guarantee that they were offered the ability to work with rehab, but if they refuse there is little we can do. We also have almost all new management. The new Executive Director is amazing and he is really doing wonderful things with the place. We have recently began remodeling all of our units and the place is looking great! We also recently hired a new Executive Chef. The residents are really enjoying their dining experience. We apologize that you were not pleased with your experience. We would love to show you the new Brookdale Palmer Ranch Community. Give us a call to schedule a visit.
