This is absolutely one of the worst facilities EVER! If you want poor quality care for your relative or loved one THIS IS THE PLACE. The front of the building on the inside and through all the hallways are nice surroundings etc. Once you get to the BACK where the Alzheimer's unit is it SHABBY SHABBY and care is EVEN WORSE!. The caregivers for these patients don't even have to have a CNA license to work there. They do require a CPR certificate within 90 days after working there. The law requires only 1 caregiver per 16 patient because the requirements for a skilled nursing home or facility is much more stringent. They get bathed if lucky 1 time a week. They double pad them so they won't have to change them. They only get something to drink when meals are served. The food is disgusting. Food is something you wouldn't feed your pets. Drinks are supposed to be available at all time according to rules. So they set the machines out on a kitchen counter. These patients don't know how to operate these machines or serve themselves. The caregivers don't care. I have complained about this facility for years and nothing is ever done. It's like they know when someone is coming to inspect this place. My Mom literally died of dehydration there. She smelled all the time. They aren't allowed to feed the patients unless a family hires outside help to come in. They serve these patients food they can't chew like raw carrots or Doritos etc and these folks don't even have dentures because the facility has either lost them or they've disappeared. I have even been there on many occasions where they actually run the water from the kitchen for a couple of hours to verify water consumption so they don't have to give showers to these patients. The facility is DEPLORABLE. Prisoners in prison facilities have better care and rights than these people do. I lived a 100 miles from this facility and my sister had guardianship and was the conservator over her affairs. She told the probate court she did NOT where I lived and I lived out of state when the proceeding took place to have my Mom declared mentally incompetent. She moved into her house and my Mom never got to see her house ever again. Her estate was worth a million dollars. This facility cost $5000 a month which was money for her to slowly die from inadequate care. The facility finally changed names just different owners that were related because of a bad reputation. Don't be fooled by the name change. IT STILL OPERATES THE SAME. BEWARE
