I was called in for a " group interview" for a CNA position. I was early and was the first candidate there. The receptionist called the Interviewer and informed her that I was there and the only one waiting. The second and only other candidate arrived 10 minutes after me. The "group interview" was to start promptly at 2pm and I waited for an additional 30 minutes for the Interviewer to arrive. Once in the "group interview" we were asked about our experience and qualifications. after listening to the other candidate the interviewer took her attention completely off me and only spoke to her. The process was not only unprofessional but humiliating and disrespectful. My experience clearly was listed on my resume and was publicly downplayed in front of the other candidate. After dismissing me due to my lack of experience and her complete disregard of her position there she comically added that I can re-apply as I proceeded to end my participation in the " group interview". Beware when applying for a position here because if this is the way an interview is conducted I can only imagine how the employees are treated.

My Mom has lived at Arbor Terrace Decatur more than two years now and we could not be happier. Every staff member I have met has been delightful and attentive. There is a wall of portraits showing only staff who have worked there for at least 8 years. I'd say there are at least 30 photos. Staff at AT go out of there way to make sure my Mom is safe and happy. The activities are fun and designed to help those with memory loss retain cognitive function. The food is nourishing and delicious. We sing the praises of Arbor Terrace to everyone we meet.
