    I would literally give this a NEGATIVE STAR if I could. My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's dementia and we placed her in this beautiful facility. The building is beautiful-that's about it! It was almost a month before we realized what was really going on. My brother and I would visit the facility at different times and dates so no real pattern could be established. The "trained staff" is a complete joke. They scream at the patients at the top of their lungs if they do anything wrong or not. They get super close to them like they are going to hit them into being compliant. These are people who are diagnosed with Alzheimer's dementia they are already scared and paranoid because they do not recognize their own family members! Screaming and intimidating them is not how you treat residents! They basically want the patients to be scared. I could not believe my eyes or my ears! The doctor just wanted my mother super drugged and he had never laid eyes on her much less did a physical when he gave her a prescription that was a very high dose for her symptoms. Nursing staff non existent. My phone calls and emails were ignored. Doctor not available even when I requested a phone call? A bunch of high schoolers or equivalent running the show. When we expressed our concerns as to what was going on, we were basically told, "If we did not like it- Leave!" So we did after three weeks. My mother now lives in a different facility where the staff is actually trained, nursing staff is onsite 24 hours a day, I can call her and speak to a REAL NURSE anytime of the day. Brandon Wilde has a reputation of a good facility but if you have a family member with Alzheimer's dementia please do yourself a favor --DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN THIS FACILITY. The state needs to pull their license to operate. A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR OUR FAMILY! Since being in a different facility we have met other families that took their loved ones out of the Pavillion and Windsor House at Brandon Wilde, we all had the same experience with BW -incredibly abusive and truly do not care about the patients.Brandon Wilde just wants the money and the patients super drugged. This is not how you take care of a vulnerable population of elderly people.

    Best experience was talking to the nutrition aide with the huge jugs and pretty smile...Alicia West omg beautiful thats mine

    A nice place to live and retire, with provisions in case needs arise as years accumulate. My Mom has been happy there, both earlier when she didn't need much help and now when she needs more. Elegant, restaurant-style dining is a nice plus.
