My Mother is 92 and four weeks ago told me she wanted to move to the town I live in, 55 miles from where she was living. She knew that it was time to stop living alone and that she needed daily help. I did not know where to start. In searching the web I found " A Place for Mom." The same day Lisa, an Eldercare Advisor, was emailing and calling me. I told her my needs and she suggested a Personal Care Home. I did not know such places existed. I looked at several places for about two weeks and although they were very nice, I just did not get the instinctive feeling that they were right for Mother. I was really becoming discouraged when Lisa sent me an email saying that she had just visited a new Personal Care Home. It was on 4 acres of land (my Mother grew up in the country so that was perfect) and had very large rooms. I was hopeful that this would be the place and only 15 minutes from my home. I called and visited the next day. Azaria Personal Care Home is beautiful and has that wonderful at home feeling.
