I hate to post these things online but my family has tried to take other measures to resolve these issues. My grandmother has lived at this facility for about a month and the care has been terrible. Several times a day she will push her call button for assistance and it will take over an hour for someone to respond, if they respond at all. She has had accidents waiting for someone to come and take her to the bathroom. This is abuse. They also leave her places in her wheelchair knowing she has no way to get herself around. My mom, my uncle, and I have all expressed our concerns to management, who have done nothing to make this better. I want others to be aware of the conditions that Elmcroft thinks are acceptable before they choose to move their loved one in. I don't want anyone to regret it the way that we do.

Elmcroft of Milford Chase is a God send! My Dad has been independent his whole life. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's ten years ago. It has since branched into Dementia. I did a lot of research on the best location given his needs and the fact that both illness are debilitating. I came across Elmcroft in my search and went on a tour. The facility was clean and the staff was genuinely friendly but, I was still worried about the transition. The team at Elmcroft was very supportive and had all steps covered on getting my Dad in and adjusted. He has been there for 16 months now and my feeling hasn't changed one bit. The staff have worked with him with patience and caring. When he told me he was staying in a resort, that spoke volumes about the care he is receiving. If you are on the fence about quality living and recourses, I can tell you with certainty, Elmcroft at Milford facility, staffing and administration can't be matched in this area. Thank you for making a difficult time in our lives easier!

This place is horrible!!!!!!! First thing first, the staff pretend to be very friendly until the move your loved one in. They do not report all falls and meds are not always dispensed adequately. The ones who have dementia are treated the worst because they can not speak for themselves. Amongst the others, my grandmother is VERY aware of what is going on. She told me some stories that even I found unbelievable, until I did a pop up visit and saw for myself that the staff here are not genuine and does not answer light calls promptly. They do not care one bit. The RA's are not all certified, and they are very rude. When asked questions about residents care they are unaware. The cooks just barely cooks the food to the correct temperatures. After 5pm residents are not giving snacks or anything to hold them over other than water here and there (from the faucet in their rooms). THE MANAGEMENT IS THE WORST!!!! When shift workers are short they give off no support. They sit on there bottoms and pretend to be busy until they leave for the day. Maintenance is hoerible as well, they NEVER fix things. My grandmothers room had a leak in it that ruined allllll of her furniture.. yet nothing was done. Some residents acquired scabbies, as well as bed bugs in their apartments, which still has not been fully treated!!!! After 8PM staff is sleeping. I have walked into my grandmothers room a little after 11PM, to do a random pop up & I found a employee.. asleep.. on my grandmothers sofa. I wouldn't even move my dog into here.
