Meadow View is a clean, nice looking facility. As they say, beauty is skin deep. My father in law has been there 3 months. We have addressed the following issues with nursing staff and the Director of Nursing, Mercedes, on multiple occasions. They have failed to meet the care plan requirements of his low sodium diet. They also frequently fail to put his compression socks on in the morning and take them off in the evening . These socks are necessary to help keep too much fluid from settling in his lower body due to heart failure. One day, when my sister in law was taking her father to the dentist, she arrived at 10 AM to find he had no compression socks. She had made Meadow View aware prior to that day that my father in law would need to leave for the dentist at 10:15. She searched for a staff member and finally found an aid who said, "I don't work that side, but I will put them on." As she was FINALLY leaving the building, another aid came up to her and said, "Well, I was going to get them on." Later the aid told my father in law, who is very ill, that my sister in law had been RUDE TO HER! Even worse than that, my brother in law came to pick my father in law up in an afternoon and found that, again, he did not have on his compression socks! Yesterday, a Saturday, they called to inform us that my father in law was out of a prescription medication. They are supposed to order the medications from the VA and have ordered them in the past. It can take 7 to 10 days to receive a prescription by mail from the VA. When the nurse calling was informed that Meadow View was supposed to order the prescription, she stated that they, "didn't know that!" Also, the nurse asked if it would "be okay" if he didn't take that medication for "a few days" until it came in. One would assume that, since they are responsible for his medication, they would check the bottles when they are getting low, perhaps 2 weeks in advance, to reorder. We took my father in law to Meadow View based on positive ratings and the appearance. I will be talking to Mercedes and Tiffany, the facility director tomorrow, but I would advise that you keep close watch on relatives in this facility.

My mother in-law is a resident at Meadowview, and we simply could not be any happier with the care that she receives. The staff is just AMAZING. I have literally stood by, watching them care for residents, with tears in my eyes. Truly, they treat the residents like family, and the patience and the love that they are shown is incredible. I very, very highly recommend them. Best decision we ever made.

My mom has been at Meadowview for 4 years and I cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff is there. They love her like family when we are not there. The facility is unique and there are different room options available. But the most wonderful thing about it is how magnificent the staff is.

They lie on the web site! They do not accept waivers and they will not give an answer on said waiver while the meter is spinning away. Very undertstaffed...
