My Mother and Father were both at Ramsey Village. Mom was in AL for years. Ramsey Staff is the best. Mom got the best care and loving staff took care of her daily. They follow Iowa Regulations set by DIA and as I miss both my folks very much, I am so thankful and blessed they were at Ramsey. Only a person with no life and a Busy Body would give them a bad rating. I have in fact recommended this community to many and always will. THANK YOU RAMSEY VILLAGE....

Pages of documentation and photos on Ramsey and the horrible things our family whinessed while at Ramsey over the course of a few weeks. All documentation has been shared with staff and real owner of Ramsey. Nurses verbally fighting, needle in the hallway, one bath in 13 days, rooms not ready for occupancy when they said they would be. I personally witnessed a CNA go into an empty room and nap twice in an hour. Nurses will complain straight to your face about how bad things are, how they are looking for new jobs. Tron is the biggest jerk you will ever meet. He said to our faces "I don't know what you "think" you heard" Staff hates that guy and and our very vocal about it. You could push a call button and wait more than 20 mins which is not allowed per the state. Often times we had to chase someone down to get what we needed. The smell was so bad in my moms room because of an unkept bathroom full of dirty towels that I repeatley asked them to take away. If you honestly check on your loved one on a regular basis you will whiteness all this yourself. Working with DHS, BBB and State Nursing Homes on filing a complaint. I wouldn't put my worst enemy in this place.

Mom moved to Ramsey Village almost 3 years ago, first in an independent apartment, and recently to residential care where she has just a little more help that she needs. In all this time, Mom continues to say that she lives like a queen! She has made many friends at Ramsey, the food is excellent, and the people who take care of her are unfailingly kind and gracious. I worked in health care for a number of years and so have seen many retirement communities. Without hesitation, I can say I have never observed a higher level of quality and competence. We are well and truly blessed by the people at Ramsey Village. Thank you.

Mom has been at Ramsey Villiage for three years and we have all been extremely satisfied with the care she has received.

All of the staff are extremely kind and caring (even the housekeepers and dietary staff), I would recommend my family members to come there for a short skilled stay, long-term care, or assisted living. The therapy department's team has made my family member be able to return home after their skilled stay and I can't be more thankful.
