Update: Thanks to Stacie, the administrator, for reaching out to me personally and apologizing for the way I had been spoken to. She reassured me that this is most definitely not how they treat families of their clients, told me to keep her phone number should I ever need to call. She also gave me much better information on how my dad is actually doing and adjusting at his new home. Thank you Stacie! I feel so much better now. I may change my review once I've gone to the facility to visit my dad. I called this evening at about 5 pm, a seemingly younger gal answered the phone. I said I was calling to see how my dad was doing, as he's only been there 4 days and they've recommended no visitors or phone calls directly to him for the first week for adjustment. The girl got a snippy tone with me and asked "Who's calling?" I informed her of who I was and who my dad is. She told me "He's doing good but he's really been craving soda, so if you guys could bring him some...and he's only got two packs of cigarettes left". I told her I'd inform my sister who is the closest to him in location. That was literally all I got out of her on how he is adjusting to his new home. Seriously unimpressed so far. She never gave me her name.

Love Ashley Manor. Staff here are great. I've been to many assisted livings and memory cares and Mtn Home team are top notch and provide some of the best care I have ever seen.

My mother has lived at Ashley Manor since September of 2016. The staff is always great. Kind and caring people. My mother speaks well of the staff. Robert is her favorite. I visit on a weekly basis. I take my mom out to lunches and on little outings. The staff always informs me on how she is doing. They know me by first name. A special shout out to Dakota, Janet, Ellie, and Shanessy. It is a nice place with a home like atmosphere. Not an old school nursing home with long cold hallways. My mother has made a friend there who is also a resident. It it very hard in the first place to have to put a loved one in a care facility. I am very happy with my mother's care at the Mtn. Home Ashley Manor. Thank you so much Bridget for actually talking with me and helping me to get my mom placed. Stacie, the house manager is great. I highly recommend an Ashley manor for a loved one with a need for this kind of memory care.

I am so saddened to say that our family's experience with Ashley Manor was heartbreaking. My Mom died after only a few months. She had had a stroke that wasn't attended to by taking her immediately to the hospital, although we had certainly signed permission to do so. The physician who Ashley Manor uses, Dan Crossley, is inconsiderate and uncaring. He never returned multiple calls from our family to check on our Mom's progress. I even called the hospital in which he is assigned (St. Luke's Trinity) with my concerns, and even then, he didn't return our call. Her care there was a shame. While I am eternally thankful to the few the nurses and attendants at Ashley Manor were caring and kind to my Mom, she was simply left to sit alone watching old movies on the TV most of the time. I wish so much that they had activities to keep their residents more active and engaged. The final insult was, after she passed away in her room, not one word of condolences was ever given from the staff or administrators Ashley Manor- no card, no call, no acknowlegement that they had lost one of their residents. A very disrespectful way to spend your last days. I am sorry Mom. You deserved so much more. If you are reading this, please do not let your loved one live there.
