I chose Streamside 4 years ago when my kids were moving out of state. This place is very well maintained all the time, the building always has a clean smell to it and great environment. All the staff are very polite and nice. There is a salon inside the building that is there 5 days a week and that makes it so convenient when you don't have transportation to get around town. There is also a bus here at the Facility that takes us to the store twice a month and on other outings. They have a selection of great foods here as well and big parties they do 5 times a year. My experience I have had here has been great and cant wait for more years to come. So I just want to Thank You Streamside Family.

My husband and I came to Streamside Assisted Living 5 years ago. I had a stroke and my husband developed Alzheimer's. During this time r\we received very good care by the aides and my husband and while he had Alzheimer's the aides were very passionate towards him. Later on while the diseases got worse we had transferred him to the Alzheimer's Building. He later passed away while living there. I have continued living at the assisted living. They were very compassionate during my grieving time. And after all these years I have enjoyed the food that they serve and the care that I receive during this time. When I have a request for help when I lose something or need help with getting in bed they are very prompt and very helpful with a good attitude. Since I have been here at Streamside for 5 years they feel like family now.

I had an interview yesterday with Vanessa she was so unprofessional the way she talked to me yesterday if she knew me and that whole interview went downhill from there talking Spanglish throughout the whole interview also she mentioned I would like all my med techs not to show up all crudas, which I had to correct her and say that's so unprofessional it's called hangover she doesn't know me it's like showing up to an interview and asking the interview hey do you do crack cocaine or do you do any other type of drugs that was so rude I'm not even sure why she's in there doing the hiring doesn't represent the company at all

My daughter worked for these thieves and she's been waiting for just over 2 months for her paycheck. After repeated phone call, the "check writer" is never in. Figure that out, the check writer hasn't been in for more than two months. I certainly hope that their clients are better cared for. Shameful behavior.

My experience with this establishment was completely unacceptable. I found the administrator, Dierdra Kemp, to be unprofessional and lacking the compassion that one in her position should possess. It's also my opinion that this is much closer fitting to the definition of a nursing home instead of an assisted living facility. Merely staffed for those in need of minimal care, when maximum care is what's actually needed. Having said that, allow me to point out positives as well... The facility itself is beautiful. And, some of the staff appeared to actually care about their jobs and the quality of life provided for those residing there. Unfortunately, this like most, is a business... and as such, profit far outweighs all other aspects, even though dealing with the well being of others IS THE BUSINESS. I would not feel comfortable with any of my loved ones residing here.
