This is the second assisted living facility I have worked with as a caregiver, and the difference is wonderful. The management train the staff on building a culture of caring for the individual and helping them feel our gratitude for the lives they have lead. The kitchen staff strive to accommodate those residents with diet restrictions. The appearance of the facilities is clean and the smell is pleasant. While no care facility can claim to be perfect, the Homestead comes pretty close.

I have worked at the Homestead as a caregiver and the residents who live here are truly cared about and loved. We do our absolute best to individualize each residents care plan so that they are comfortable and happy with it. We help them work towards goals they have, we support and encourage them when they feel down, and we are there to give them a hug when they feel lonely. The Homestead truly has the most caring administration and staff out there.

I love working here, it is a fun loving place to work, everyone here feels like family even if you don't know them very well. It is a happy relaxed place. The work is hard but rewarding and worth every minute. Serving elderly people is much more fun then I imagined. The staff are all so kind to each other and especially to the residents. The residents are always kind and appreciate the help. Management is wonderful and will bend over backwords to help you with your schedule and any other concerns you may have. It is a safe place to be where employees and residents are both taken care of. We get free meals and the food is always tasty. I would definitely recommend working here!

I have worked as a caregiver at the Homestead for 2 years, and I love my job. My manager is supportive, the coworkers and work environment are great, though occasional challenges naturally arise. I have always noticed that the safety and wellbeing of the residents is paramount to everything they do. The administration go above and beyond to individualize the care plans for each resident, and not only their health but their happiness is carefully considered. Also, my Grandparents lived here for about a year before passing away. I honestly couldn't think of a better place for them once they could no longer live safely at home. I also happily eat the food myself, the diet is well-balanced and tasty! I would willingly live there myself if I were elderly and unable to live at home.

I have been working here as a caregiver for the last several months, and I have been exceedingly happy here. Upon applying I heard back quickly, and management is exceedingly supportive and kind. The work is rewarding and the facility is beautiful. There is a real feeling of camaraderie among staff, and the place really starts to feel like Family.
