St. Joseph Village Of Chicago
Overall Rating 4.2 / 5.0 ★★★★★

My parents were residents for several years. Regular scheduled staff was great, rest were not. Community does not reimburse monies for lost, broken items (staff gave a shower, destroyed hearing aids, after repetitive requests for reimbursement, I gave up - $4500 out of pocket expense), no assistance with the medicaid (public aid) process. Would never recommend St. Joseph's Village or any of the Franciscan Sister communities.

I can honestly say that I prayed and God answered. My mom was able to get in to this facility rather quickly which I am forever grateful. From the moment she arrived to the day she departed, everyone there and I mean everyone that we came in contact with was extremely fantastic. She was treated and cared for with such respect, dignity, love (yes love) and everyone was so communicative with us for every little detail. I asked God for a place with people who have a heart like His and we received oh so much more. I am eternally grateful to every medical worker, every pastoral person, and every staff member. They are commited to what they stand for and that is what Jesus is about. Hearts of love even in the most difficult times to the best yet to come. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart.

I am so pleased with the care provided here. The folks are consistent, kind, aware and follow through. My aunt always appears comfortable. The staff is also communicative with me. Our family is very grateful.
