I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I couldn't think of a better way to share our appreciation for the staff at The Oak Park Arms. My parents moved in less than a year ago and from the first meeting, were shown the greatest care to ensure that "The Arms" would be a great home for them. Unfortunately, my Dad's health declined rapidly and again, the staff provided support and compassion during the most difficult days. I am comforted to know that my Mom is supported by people such as Marzena, Desi, Levert and the team!

I wish I didn't have to give them any stars. I was talking to Jenna the social worker and Moses or Mosley who's the executive director intervene in our conversation with a very nasty and unprofessional attitude telling her not to discuss anything with me about my client and her future assessment that can benefit her in a positive way.

I have been an independent caregiver for more than 15 years , and have worked wirh a lady named Dororhy Barber who lived here for almost 9 years. I've seen the dedication of all the staff here and their compassion with their residents and what thwy do. There is no pwrfect condition anywhere we go, but the activities and entertainment are the best so far as i have worked with other people in other facilities. My boss died 3 years ago, and i miss the happy years we spent with the residents and staff of Oakpark Arms.

Both my Mom and my Uncle currently live at the Arms. My Mom has been on the Assisted Living floor for 4 years and my Uncle has been on the Independent Living floor for 3 years. They both love the Arms and I love it too! My family is well cared for and safe, which gives me peace of mind. The Arms allows them the independence and dignity to live their own lives on their own terms while providing the assistance they both need. My sisters and I visited several similar facilities in the area and not one came close to the cost, value, cleanliness, quality and extent of services and activities, staff professionalism and attention that the Arms offers. Most importantly, my Mom and my Uncle love the community at the Arms. If you have a loved one that needs help, I recommend the Arms!

I've been working with Oak Park Arms for over a year, offering occasional respite care for my mother. They have always been kind and courteous, and really understand my mother's needs. They offer many activities, short trips, and events all in what had once been a luxury hotel. Great atmosphere, and great energy from the staff we've worked with. This is my go-to place, and they've been a lifesaver every time.
