0 stars...6000 a month for the staff to do the bare minimum and if they ask you to get a new bed because the patient is moving from standard care to hospice do not get it..they try to charge $50 to take the old bed to the garbage. Literally no words also my grandmother is on a nebulizer. It needs to be cleaned after every use but it seems that we always have to clean it...not worth 6000 a month at all they just bleed people dry until they die and start with a new person.

Brookdale of Orland Park is currently having multiple issues that have caused concerns with family members and residents. They have had high turnover in administration (5 executive directors in 3 years). This has led to disorganization which negatively impacts the staff and residents. Communication is extremely poor, and it is difficult to have concerns addressed in a timely manner. In addition, there have been multiple complaints against them for inconsistent treatment including neglect of residents basic needs (e.g. eating, hygiene, and medication). Prices continue to rise despite these major deficits. It is possible to receive higher levels of care for a lower cost at numerous local facilities. Strongly consider other options for your family member if they are not able to function independently.

I'm appalled at the lack of care for those in the memory care part of the facility. My loved over has had her medication not dispensed to her properly on many occasions causing health issues. There have been assault incidents among residents and the staff has been so oblivious to behavior that they have not been proactive in preventing these issues. It's a shame that we are spending a fortune for our loved one to be there. Other facilities cost even more. I visit frequently and feel as if the staff is putting on a show for visitors, to the point of loudly announcing that there are visitors. I observe a great deal of laziness with regards to the staff and it's sickening to know that we can not afford better care for our family member.

The most unprofessional customer service I've ever experienced. I attempted to speak with someone regarding admission for a loved one and the level of professionalism was appalling! I called 3 times, to be greeted by someone who couldn't command the King's english nor operate the phone system properly. The dialect and their speech was enough for me NOT to inquire about this facility.
