My grandmother lives here and I'm very very disappointed in the quality of their restaurant. The food is horrendous. I'm not usually one to complain, but this is especially bad -- and expensive. We waited over an hour for our dinner the other night only to be served cold, inedible food. My "steak" dinner was pieces of beef in a brown liquid sauce. It was utterly inedible. For the price residents pay to live here, the food should be much much better. It's basically one step above hospital food. The Stratford needs to get their act together and fix the kitchen. Many residents here depend on the restaurant for 3 meals per day. They shouldn't be forced to eat this garbage in their golden years. Edit 11/27/2018: There are lots of great things about the Stratford. In fact everything else asides from the food is excellent. The building is beautiful, there are lots of activities, the staff are friendly and helpful. It's really quite shocking that the restaurant is as bad as it is. I asked quite a few people in the halls if it's always like this and response was a resounding "yes". From what I understand, problems started about a year ago when the head chef was replaced. Many other restaurants are capable of serving 130+ customers per night within a reasonable amount of time. The time spent waiting really isn't the biggest issue. If the food were excellent, it would be worth the wait. If you're thinking about moving to the Stratford, make sure you dine here a few times before making your decision. I will gladly delete my review when the restaurant improves. If you're reading this, it means that is hasn't.

This place is senior living at it's best. It's good for people who don't need a lot of help and people who need a little bit more. All of the staff are amazing and willing to help in any situation. They really go out of their way to help their residents with all of their needs. I would highly recommend.

It was amazing to see such a beautiful community with a caring staff! I would feel confident sending my parents here when the time comes. I would highly recommend if you're considering at retirement to look at this place!!!!

The Stratford is a LOVELY facility! It's situated in the beautiful WestClay Village! I've been an assisting vendor there for nearly 10 years and have to say how great the administrative, sales and maintenance teams are to work with. Very attention to detail and nothing but the highest quality accepted for their residents and their grounds/facilities. It is certainly a community I'd choose in the future for my family members and, when my need arises, that I would choose to call home.

I'm not a resident, but my gf works at this location. I know that makes me biased, but I must mention how much I love the Stratford. The staff are always very friendly and the location is so beautiful. It's surrounded by a thriving community of professionals and retirees, which makes the atmosphere very safe and professional. My life goal is to make enough money so that I can someday retire in this beautiful community.
