    This is a terrible place. Please do not allow your relatives to be put here. My father-n-law was horribly mistreated/ignored by the staff here. After having to go AMA, because they wouldn't take care of him, they kept him in the hospital ER for over 8 hours after being treated, because they wouldn't transfer his info. When we were leaving the facility, 3 of the aides were sitting around visiting while there were needs of patients to be met. They do NOT care about people here. When you notify them about what has happened, they just tata you, acting like you don't know what they are saying. So sad that my father-n-law had to endure this in Louisiana. We brought him down from Missouri after having strokes and he spent many months in a rehab facility there that he loved, because the staff cared. This place allowed him to push his button all night long and scream at the top of his lungs for help and never came to help other than sticking thier head in the room occassionally to tell him they knew he needed help. He says there was some sort of party going on with the staff. This is not an ignorant man. He writes books and is a great artist, he still functions mentally 100%. He was treated cruelly by this facility. On a side note, looking at the previous reviews, all the 5 star reviews provide no additional info other than the stars. Wondering why? I really just want to warn people who care about their loved ones, not to allow them to go into this facility. They seriously don't care. One day later, now we are dealing with bedsores that we're pretty sure originated at this facility. Disgraceful place.

    Apparently they just called people that busted their but for them and fire them unwrongfully the big bosses does not investigate nothing that goes on around there from their workers to their residents. I loved my job because of the residents but as for management nobody has a chance if they are not in close with the big people or even your own boss thats over your department. I miss the residents most.

    They took my mother in for "rehab to home", but after a hospital visit due to pneumonia, they wouldn't take her back due to her cancer diagnosis, which they were fully aware of before they took her in the first time. They said they weren't equipped to handle her issues. But her issues were exactly the same when they took her in a week prior. They also didn't bother to contact us directly to let us know that they weren't taking her back. They only told the hospital workers and expected them to relay that message to us. This all occurred on the Friday of Christmas weekend (2018). Which left us scrambling to find a new place for mom. When I went in to pick up her belongings, I asked the office why they didn't feel the need to contact us directly, especially since my mother was one of their residents. The reply was "We don't do that. We don't have to do that." Compassion is not one of their strong points, apparently. We are extremely upset and disappointed. Nobody deserves to be thrown out this way. This experience is under the new ownership of 2018.
