A close 80-year-old friend recovering from brain surgery has thrived at Hillhaven Rehabilitation and now Hillhaven Assisted Living. Care has been outstanding. Staff are skilled and caring, especially nurse Jennifer Watkins and nursing assistant Molly Da Silva. They have gotten his weight from a dangerous 92 lb. to 110 lb. so far. Even when passing him in the hall, everyone recognizes him, calls him respectfully by his last name, and shows interest in how he is doing. These people are wonderful, and I credit them with saving my friend's life.

My husband was here for about 3 weeks. The nurses lack of care to his gallbladder bag caused him to return to the hospital. The techs lack compassion and caring. One said she didn't know how to charge a cell phone for my husband. Another said she couldn't bend over to pick up something from the floor. Social service person offered very little guidance with regard to discharge. There was no discharge plan. Don't leave your loved one here alone. I stayed with my husband everyday to make sure he received the necessary medical care he needed. Doctor even wrote a wrong prescription for my husband. Luckily I check everything from seeing so many mistakes.

If you want to send your loved one to die - send them to Hillhaven. Although it was clean, the quality of care was terrible. Nearly impossible to talk to terrible doctors. Wound care is non-existent. They kept my mom on the bed for a year because of a wound on her backside. Well, they didn't treat it very well. Ended up in the hospital. Had to be treated for infection in the blood and bone! Intensive antibiotics treatment was too much so her kidneys started to fail. My mom passed away. Never send your loved one to this place!!!
