Quarry Hill At Anderson Inn

Alzheimer's unit is truly the worst I've ever visited. Serious lack of activities, complacent attitude from nursing management, horrible institutionalized food, and residents often wear the same clothes day after day and are not washed regularly. Any institution that spends more time on their marketing materials than caring for their residents has their priorities wrong--Quarry Hill has everything backwards. While they try to put on a facade of "caring deeply for their residents" what they really try to do is drain everyone's savings and then push them out to another facility once they've depleted their personal savings. In the winter, they turn down the heat in the dining area and common areas so plan on bundling up should you go for a visit then. Also, the common areas are dark and dreary and the sofas are anything but comfortable--think hard hospital couches not cozy couches that you'd find at home. Sadly, Quarry Hill's marketing materials tell a drastically different story from that which is reality.
