My father lived at the Reflections Memory Care for two years. He had at least three falls within the first three months of moving in, several trips to ER. My biggest complaint was lack of sufficient staff, but, my complaints went right in one ear and out the other. They always had excuses (meaning the nursing director). On the positive side, I met some wonderful and very caring staff. They did the best they could. One bit of advice I can give you, that if you're thinking of placing your loved one in a memory care facility DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Another thing, very important, visit frequently. Don't assume your loved one is getting good quality care. You have to be on the ball at all tiimes.
