My mom had been at Regent Street for almost 7 years when we moved her out this past January (2018). The care that was provided had been diminishing since Meridian took over the management of the facility (most noticeably over the past 1 year). Meridian is no longer managing the facility but many of the same people are still there who were the source of the problem. They did not check on the residents or change them as often as they claimed to do. I had a camera in my mom's room and witnessed the neglect firsthand. The management was dismissive and unresponsive and many of the newer staff was belligerent. Staff as well as residents had been leaving rapidly over the past year and many of the staff members that were coming in were from an agency on a temporary basis I believe. My mom had been left to sit in her recliner soaking wet because staff did not check on her or change her for up to 7 hours. They had forgotten to put her to bed and didn't get her up for breakfast. I had to call the facility and let them know about the neglect and on one occasion I even had to go to the facility at 1:30 am because nobody was answering the phone. That night there was 1 person staffing the whole building (3 floors). The earlier reviews are accurate and this place use to be fantastic but I would not recommend this facility to anyone unless the new management company "cleans house" and gets rid of those that are the issue.

Regent street is a wonderful facility. I come in there once in a while to see my grandparent. The residents are always in an activity with the nice activity staff. The nurses are caring, as well as the new young lady at the desk (I think selina was her name) has a friendly smile on her face which I enjoy walking into.

This community has been dedicated to making sure seniors receive the best care. As a family member I noticed disgruntled previous employees and private duty aids are rating it low- don't be deceived. Go and talk with the team there!
